ThisĀ Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip is a healthier take on classic ranch dressing. Itās ultra creamy and packed with flavor, and this dip makes it so easy to get your daily dose of veggies in each day!Ā

Creamy Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip
I learned somethingĀ the hard way yesterday. I made thisĀ spinach artichoke hummus (took all the step-by-step photos), only to learn after all said and doneĀ that apparently itās not my thing. Itās true thatĀ you justĀ never know until you try it.
I think my heart was just set on something that tasted similar to a cheesy spinach artichoke dip, and even though I added a little bit of parmesan it just ended up tasting like an oddly textured, slightly off flavored hummus.Ā So, I tossed thatĀ out and started with this.
This Greek yogurt ranch dip is definitely my thing! I ate nearly half of it in one sitting. My kids loved it too, which made my life easier because they ate plenty of veggies.
I even found myselfĀ coming back for a midnight snack. With that, I can only imagine how much of my veggie intake I got for the day, and I wasnāt even intending to eat all those veggies. A great dip can make you do crazy things, I guess.
The best part aboutĀ this Greek yogurt dip (besides its irresistible taste and incredibly creamy texture) isĀ that I donāt have to feel guilty about eating so much of the dip. Itās so much lighter than a traditional ranch, it only contains 3 Tbsp mayo total.
The rest is made up of Greek yogurt and some fresh and dried herbs. Another great part about it, no MSG here. I havenāt sworn off the ranch seasoning packets entirely yet but Iām trying to slowly wean myself off of them because of theĀ MSGĀ they contain.
I havenāt researched all the harmful effects of MSG, IāveĀ just heard over and over that itās no good. This dip, however, is very good. I love knowing exactly whatās in it and that itās fresh, sans preservatives.
Itās a summer must have recipe. Try it ASAP! You wouldnāt believe how easy itĀ is so easy to make. And you might just find that youāll nearly reach your recommendedĀ daily veggie intake in one sitting when you haveĀ this dip to coat them.
Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip Ingredients
For this Greek yogurt veggie dip, youāll need:
- Greek yogurt
- Mayonnaise
- Garlic
- Fresh parsley
- Freeze dried chives
- Dried dill
- Onion powder
- Salt and pepper
How to Make Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip
Simply whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl. I like to let the ranch dip sit in the fridge for 30 minutes to give the flavors time to come together, but you can also eat it right away.
Can I Omit the Mayo in This Recipe?
Technically, yes you can. But your Greek yogurt dip wonāt be as creamy without the mayonnaise. Personally, I donāt mind the little mayo thatās in this recipe since it adds so much flavor, but you can make this dip however youād like.
Can I Make This With Regular Yogurt?
I wouldnāt recommend making this Greek yogurt veggie dip with regular yogurt, otherwise Iām afraid the dip would turn out too runny.
Tips for the Best Ranch Dip
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt. It has more flavor and makes for a creamier ranch dip.
- If you donāt have freeze dried chives, you can use regular dried chives instead.
- Donāt omit the bit of fresh parsley in this recipe, it really brightens the flavor up.
